ISO 17025: 2017 accreditation provides a strong foundation for a quality management system at each of Bureau Veritas’ oil analysis laboratories.
Our Quality Assurance team reinforces the Bureau Veritas – Oil Analysis Quality Management System through on-going monitoring, training, and documentation. Our Quality Assurance team is independent of operations to ensure competence, data quality, integrity, and validity of analytical results.
What is ISO 17025: 2017?
ISO/IEC 17025 is a standard for testing and calibration developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). The ISO/IEC 17025 standard is adopted by testing and calibration laboratories as a foundation to operate with a high level of competence that generates data validity, operational integrity, and confidence nationally and internationally.
ISO 17025 has been updated to the 2017 version and it is the required standard for laboratory Quality System Management.
How does our quality team maintain quality assurance?
Our quality assurance department routinely monitors procedures and processes with compliance audits, quality system audits and method audits to ensure compliance with accreditation and client requirements are validated.
